Let's recognise students in Team Tekau who are showing our values. Fill out a 'shout-out' form and post it in the classroom box. We'll check it daily so we can thank those super students for being so wonderful!

Team Tekau's Great Learning Day!

WOW, what an awesome start to the year Team Tekau! It was great to meet the students and their families and I know we are going to have a super year. There were a few unusual things about our classroom so check out the photos to find out a bit more!

What super plans Team Tekau created!

We finally got the desks into our classroom. Are they in the best place? Do we all need a desk? Watch this space to find our more as we create 'our classroom'.

Grace, Sharnika and Evangelina

Lucky Grace, Sharnika and Evangelina who all came out of Monday Meet Up smiling yesterday. (Actually, we all came out smiling because we were set for a fabulous learning day, but they were even smilier because they had won something!) Evangelina won some chocolate goodies for being a responsible person in the playground and returning playground equipment. Grace and Sharnika have been busy 'Moving It' and received i-way prizes in the weekly draw. Sharnika is going to be looking good cruising around in her vest and Grace will no doubt have lots of goodies packed in her special lunchbox. Way to go! Woo-hoo!!!!

Thanks Mrs Mathews for being a super, duper reliever in Room 10. Ka mau te wehi. We'll miss you!

No Limits - I can do ANYTHING!

This is such an amazing young lady. Imagine what we could all achieve if we just followed our hearts and dreams and never said "I can't." She believed she could do anything and she did. WOW!

Tino pai Destiny-Paige - rewarded with a Buzz Bar at assembly for being a responsible student and putting away PE gear. Great job Destiny-Paige! Make sure you put gear away and it could be you getting rewarded next week :-)

Daffodil Day Coin

Remember to bring a gold coin for Daffodil Day tomorrow. All money goes to the Cancer Society and is used to support everyone who lives in the Hawkes Bay region.  An extremely worthy cause and a great way to show we care.
