Walking water science

Today I'm Science we made water walk! It was cool to see the water move from one cup to another through the paper towel. We learned this process is called the capillary action and it's what happens when plants move the water from the ground through the stem. It looks awesome with the colours too😊

Dream Catcher

We really stretched the art side of our brains making these awesome dream catchers! Team Tekau had to make sure they had a fantastic Growth Mindset to complete this tricky task. You all did really well, Ka pai Team Tekau and sweet dreams😴😊

Happy birthday Mrs Perry!

Mrs Perry came in to Team Tekau yesterday and we surprised her with a wee bit of a birthday celebration! We had all written our own rhyming poem about Mrs Perry and made it into a book for her. Alex was so kind to bake a cake that we could all share together too! And, of course we got our best singing voices out! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MRS PERRY!! 🎂
