Great to see everyone in Room 10 keeping up with fitness and supporting their fellow students who are trialling for the Inter-school Cross Country. Paige, Cairo and Jack were outstanding today. Great jogging and stamina - what a super Piki Haere attitude. Ka mau the wehi!

Wow! Not one, not two but THREE Golden Runners in Room 10 today. Tino pai Destiny-Paige, Rama and Tyler who gave their training run today 100%. We were all really impressed with the stamina you demonstrated and the way you gave it your all. You 3 can all be very proud! Ka mau the wehi - you are awesome! Bring on the Cross Country - it's going to be a wonderful event this year!

Golden Runner... Wyatt!

Congratulations to our 'Golden Runner' today - Wyatt! He is a super little runner who paces himself, always tries his best and does an amazing sprint at the end. Way to go Wyatt :) It was tough going in the cold wind today - ka pai all Room 10 for giving it your best!

Well done Ezrah who was our Golden Runner for Thursday. He maintained a good pace and really tried his best. Very commendable as he has been unwell. Great role modelling Ezrah!
Bianca was today's Golden Runner. She had a great attitude and put on sprint to finish. I am really impressed with the way Room 10 support and encourage each other during training runs. What a truly awesome bunch you all are!

Golden Runner - Evangelina!

Congratulations Evangelina! Now that training is underway for Cross Country we have a cup that is awarded to the 'golden runner' of the day. Check out our Cross Country Success Criteria. Evangelina showed a real 'can do' attitude today and made a really strong sprint to the finish line. I wonder if she watched those Commonwealth Games athletes in Glasgow? Ka mau te wehi - you are awesome Evangelina!
