Wow this was exciting! Room 10 became palaeontologists and were challenged to find a rock fossil, take it back to the class laboratory and extract the fossils from it using their special tools. We found out it was much more difficult than we had anticipated. Watch the slideshow to find out more about this amazing, once in a lifetime experience.

This is just AWESOME learning Room 10. I wish I was a learner in your class. I do have some questions though...how did the fossils get there? Were they there before the sandpit was built? This is such an exciting discovery! From Mr Pearse
ReplyDeleteI think I know who put the fossils in there Mr Pearse. Was it you Mr Pearse? They weren't there before the sandpit was built. Someone probably put them in there. From Bianca
DeleteBut how do you know they weren't there before the sandpit was built? It wasn't me so who could it be? From Mr Pearse
DeleteOh gosh, this is such a mystery. A bit like Stonehenge. Maybe we will never actually know?
DeleteYah I agree as well Mrs Perry
DeleteThanks for your thought provoking questions Mr Pearse. We were pretty excited about what we discovered! Who knew that such wonders were right there under our noses in our little old school sandpit? Now who is going to respond from Room 10?
