Meet our new mascot George! He's a pretty huggable monkey who had a great day being cuddled and squeezed and loved by Room 10. George is looking forward to having weekend visits with students. When he comes for the weekend he'll bring all his gear (clothing) and his Diary so that you can record and share what you do together with the class. He's usually well behaved, but today he got a bit excited and decided to swing on the learning goal hoop. Just as well Room 10 kids know this is a big no-no.
I hope George remembers to make good choices tomorrow.

I loved seeing everyone so excited and happy to be back at school. Everyone asked me if I had a great holiday and lots of kids missed me which made me feel really special. Room 10 kids showed they have a great attitude towards learning - how cool is that! It was so amazing to see all the beautiful new bikes in the hall and to learn that everyone will have their own helmet. The opening ceremony on Friday is going to be very special.

ReplyDeleteI love being in Room 10! My favourite things are getting heaps of cuddles, listening to stories and making kids smile. My least favourite thing is having my hair pulled so please just stroke it gently. I was a bit worried yesterday when I lost my shoe but luckily someone found it! I can't wait to go home with someone on Friday! From George xox
