Ta Da - Lightsabers!

They glow in the dark

Take PVC pipe...

Add glow in the dark paint...

Create the handle..

And voila! They look super duper!

    1. Yes, Julie. Kind Mr Perry did all the painting and he put the tape on the handles. It is great to have such a super helper at home!

  5. When you put the paint on the light sabers did it glow straight away? Or did you have to put some more ingredients on it? From Reicoe.

    1. When we put the paint on we put them under a bright light to absorb the light. That makes the sabres glow really well. When we are performing we will have a black light which will really make them show up. Good question Reicoe.

    1. The more light they get, the brighter and the longer they glow for. Mr Perry put 4 coats of paint on each one. It took quite a few hours to do.

  9. Do you know if the shop had RED glow in the dark paint?

    1. Thanks for your question Mathias. The shop, Which was Bunnings in Hastings only had green glow-in-the-dark paint. I wonder if you can get it in other colours? Mr Perry rang lots of shops but green was all that was available locally. It looks great though!
