Did you know snow is cold and icy? And extremely slippery...
George and Zoe found out how cold snow is when we went up the mountain today. The wind was so cold it made your eyes water! George had a wee sit in the snow - he loved it but then he was happy to hop back in the car.

Wheeeeee! I can slide in the snow! |
Oh no! Down I go! |

ReplyDeleteGeorge! That looks like so much fun in the icy cold snow. I love the icy cold snow. Did you freeze at the mountain George?
ReplyDeleteAre you having fun in the snow George and Mrs Perry ?No George you need a sled to slide on snow .
ReplyDeleteGeorge are you having fun in the snow.It looks fun. From Evangeline
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm, it was so cold and the snow was really icy and slippery, so actually it was not that much fun. Snow is fun to play in when it is soft and the air is not below zero. The wind was blowing so hard that it hurt your face and our hands were frozen!
ReplyDeleteIs it cold .when I went to the snow I was cold. From Paige
ReplyDeleteHi Paige
DeleteThe snow was really, really, REALLY cold. It was actually more like ice than snow. We were very happy to get back in the warm car after being outside!
Mrs Perry & George :)
I think the snow is cold but it is not warm. from Julie
ReplyDeleteWhere about's was the snow? When George fell, did he get a bit damp?
ReplyDeleteThis was at Whakapapa, Yes! George got rather damp but luckily once we hopped back in the warm car he dried off. Have you ever been to the snow? I used to ski when I was younger because we lived quite close to Queenstown. I like the light, powdery, soft snow the best. This snow was hard and icy - not very nice.
