Hats On

It's chilly in Taupo so George has his new warm hat on. He was amazed at how big Lake Taupo is. The water felt very, very cold. George saw the BIG mountains covered in snow. Today we are off to see the snow!

    Just near this part of the lake is a little creek with thermal water that runs into Lake Taupo. That water feels really warm and we even saw some people have a wee swim in it. The lake itself is very, very cold. We had a swim in a thermal pool at our hotel and it was lovely.

      Hi Paige :) It wasn't windy but the air outside was extremely chilly and that's why it was best to have a hat on. Gosh it's cold cold outside today as well! Enjoy the last day of your holidays, see you next week.
