Te Ika a Maui

Miss Pierson worked with Room 10 and showed them many of Robyn Kahukiwa's art works. They  talked about her style and what makes her art work distinctive. Their task was then to produce an art work that tells the story of Te Ika a Maui in the style of Robyn Kahukiwa. It looks outstanding up on the wall - tino pai Room 10!
Robyn Kahukiwa's style is made distinctive because of her simplistic
bodies and the way she often depicted the head on it’s side.

  1. What do you think Room 10? I think it looks really effective up on the wall. Make sure you tell Miss Pierson to come into our room and check it out. She is a great teacher!

    1. Thanks Julie's Mum. We loved doing the art and we think it looks very nice up on the wall. I hope we can get our hot and cold hands art finished to go up on the wall soon too!
