In Team Tekau today, we were learning about giving and following accurate directions.
We worked with a buddy outside. We had to stay on the lines on the courts, and we had our book with us which had our compass drawn on it. We used like turn, forwards, backwards, North, South, East and West. We took turns being the student and the teacher. It was easier to work outside because we had lots more space, the noise was much less and we had fun!!!!

Awesome many children never learn how to use compass directions if you would like I could try and get you some real compasses to use if you promise to be really careful with them. I have a box of them at scouts we use. I could even teach you or your teacher how to use them, though I am sure Mrs H already knows as she seems like a scouting kinda Gal!!
