Piki Haere Books Home Today!

It's time to share and celebrate a year of wonderful learning. How exciting! Please share your Piki Haere Books with your whanau this week. Find a time when Mum, Dad, Gran, Grandad, aunties, uncles or whoever you are sharing with is not too busy so you can sit down together. It's so valuable to look back and see the progress that has been made over the year and to share where you are at with your learning journey. Remember to ask them to record some feedback on the 'two stars' sheet. You can all be so proud of your achievements this year! Remember to bring your book back to school by next Monday.
Learning Journals coming home tonight!

Final 'Move It' Prize Draw

At Monday Meet-Up this morning we had the final 'move it' prize draw. For many kids this had meant being dropped off further from school enabling them to walk, scooter or cycle part of the way. As well as getting heaps of exercise this has helped reduce traffic congestion around our school at this very busy time of the day. Well done everyone! Congratulations Ezrah who won a pedometer this morning. Ezrah has an amazing collection of cards he has filled so it was great to see him win a prize. Let us know how that pedometer is working and how far you walk in a day Ezrah!
Cool pedometer!

High Five!

Room 10 have been learning to show that they understand what they are reading by answering comprehension questions. In this activity they had to find evidence in an article to back up their answers. Leo and Rama completed some super work and got a big 'high five' from Mr Pearse. Well done boys!
