Checking out the Chickens

This morning George checked out the chickens at my big sister's house in Levin. There were two eggs in the nesting box and one was still warm! Zoe was worried that the chickens would peck George so she held him up very carefully (yes, George was still in his pjs). The chickens love to eat sunflower seeds. Now we are back home again. George has had a really special holiday around the lower North Island. He wants to know what every else in Room 10 is up to. What have you all been doing? Only one more week to go... then back to all the fun and learning at school! :)

  1. The Patrick family(Lachie rm 15, Lucas rm7 and Cameron rm8) have loved checking out what George has been up to in his holidays. What a lucky monkey to have checked out so many places on your holiday.

  2. Thanks for following. :) George is going to spend the rest of his holidays taking it easy and maybe popping into Mahora for a bit of Term 3 organisation. He'll do lots of reading because that's so important for his learning. Make sure you guys read lots and get outside and enjoy our fabulous weather too!
