A Week of Harakeke
Harakeke was the name given to flax pants by Maori. Flax is unique to New Zealand and is one of our most ancient plants. This week we are having a harakeke week and learning about this fabulous plant. Thanks to Aradia's Mum we will have a go at some weaving and see what you can make with harakeke.

Yes Sharnika you are right. George!!!!!!! There is nothing in the kete!! Get out of there now! When you get out DO NOT let your cousin Milo in!!!! If you do I will send you both to the principals office and when you get back you both are going to time out!!! Do you understand?!!!!!!
