Maths with Mrs Harvey

This week the teachers and students at Mahora School have been lucky enough to have 

Mrs Dinah Harvey in our school teaching us some more about Maths.  We really enjoy learning how to learn things in different ways so that we can work out what strategy works best for us.

We look forward to putting some of the ideas that she has given us, into practise in our classrooms.

BANGERS AND MATHS NIGHT IS TONIGHT!!!

Come along to Mahora School tonight for a great night of Maths learning and fun!!!

Be here at 5.30pm - with adults in the Hall for a cuppa and a chat, and the kids in the Haere Hub for a sausage.  Then we'll join together to teach the adults some of the cool games we play to consolidate our Maths learning.  See you there!!!

Just a reminder to all families - tomorrow (Thursday 10 September) is the day that the permission slips and $8 payment are due back to school for our visit to the Planetarium next week.  Can you please return your child's slip and money tomorrow if you haven't done so already.

Congratulations to all Mahora students, especially the marvellous kids in Team Tekau!  Last weeks Cross Country was a huge success and I was so proud of your efforts.  Special congratulations to those who achieved placings and will be representing our school at the Inter School Cross Country next week.  Check out our school Facebook page for some fantastic action shots of the day.
